Winning Poster for World Water Week

“It’s World Water Week which has been the annual focal point for the globe’s water issues since 1991. Hosted by the Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI), this year’s theme is Water in an Urbanized World…As part of the conference, the ‘Water is Life’ poster competition was held for students and young artists across the world. More than 5,000 designs were submitted by artists from 83 countries in response to the call. The theme was water and participants were asked to research the issue and develop their own artistic interpretations…The winning posters, along with 100 others, will then be presented in exhibitions in Germany, Hungary, China and South Africa .”
